Bourbon Street (still to come) In the past 4 years, Post 5 teams have brought home four state championships. The AAA team won back to back titles in 1998 and 1999. The 1998 team advanced to the American Legion World Series in Las Vegas, NV. In the summer of 2001, the AA affiliate claimed its fifth state crown overall, successfully defending its state title in 2000. In 1993, the Jefferson City AA team ran the table in the legion playoffs, having never lost a game to claim the Regional / National Title for the first time in the programs long and storied history.
